The Woodlands Nature Reserve is excited to announce Camp Jam, an outdoor music event featuring Stop Light Observations and other great musical acts. Join us for a socially distant camp out and night of live music among the trees and fresh air on Saturday, March 13. Enjoy spacious camping, vending, and some rock and roll under the stars.  If you’re not into camping, event-only tickets for the music portion of the event are available as well.

Headliners Stop Light Observations are joined by great music acts Little Bird, Keon Masters, Aggie & The Wildflowers. In addition, we’ll kick things off with a  songwriter session in-the-round. Hosted by the one and only Slim Soul, it’s going to be an amazing night of music on stage. In addition to onsite food & beverage options, feel free to bring your own libations and enjoy responsibly.  Masks and social distancing are required.

Ticket packages are on-sale now, with a limited number of discounted early-bird tickets available for both event-only & camping ticket options, as well as an option to purchase an additional night of camping for Friday, March 12, for those interested in setting up early.

Friday, March 12

10:00am | Camping gates open (for campers who purchased additional night on Friday, March 12)

Saturday, March 13

10:00am | Camping gates open for campers with confirmed reservation

2:00pm | Concert area gates open for GA ticket holders

4:00pm – 4:30 | Songwriter in the Round

5:00 – 5:40 | Aggie & The Wild Flowers

6:00 – 6:45 | Keon Masters

7:00 – 8:10 | Little Bird

8:30 – 10:00 ish | Stop Light Observations

11:00pm | Hard curfew and noise ordinance

12:00 am | All non-campers need to have departed Woodlands Nature Reserve at this time, and gates close for the night.  Campers are expected to stay in position for the duration of the event, with no driving through the venue.

Sunday, March 13

3pm | Feel free to stay the morning / afternoon to enjoy the property. All campers need to be packed up and depart by this time. Please clean your site and Leave No Trace.

CAMP JAM FAQ

Is Camp Jam family friendly?

The event is 18+, however, guests under 18 are allowed with parent or guardian.

What time is the event?

Camping ticket holders are allowed to arrive at 10 am to set up on Saturday, March 13. Camping ticket purchasers who choose to purchase an additional night of camping Friday, March 12, are allowed to arrive and set up at 10 am on Friday. Non-camping GA ticket holders are allowed to arrive at 2 pm on Saturday, March 13, with music beginning at 4 pm. The event will conclude at 10 pm.

Can I come out to the Woodlands Nature Reserve early to enjoy the property?

Yes!  Every ticket purchaser is welcome to come out to The Woodlands to hike, bike, kayak, and soak up some fresh air and sunshine the day of the event. Gates to the concert area will open at 2 pm, however day users can arrive as early at 10 am to enjoy nature at its finest.

How does this socially distanced event work?

For the safety of all attendees, everyone is required to wear a mask in all public spaces, including the concert viewing area.  Masks can be removed when at your individual campsites.  The viewing area will have individual areas marked for groups up to six people, with line spacing in place for any vending, restrooms, etc.

What should I bring:

  • Masks (required)

  • Camping chairs to relax in your viewing area and campsite.

  • Warm clothing and rain gear to best enjoy the outdoors experience.

  • Comfortable, closed-toed shoes since the event is all outdoors and hiking the property’s trails is encouraged.

  • Headlamp, or flashlight.

  • Tents, tarps, and other camping necessities for all those camping.

  • Ticket confirmation with QR code (print or digital is fine).

  • Reusable water bottle + personal water supply. We will have limited potable water on site and we discourage single use water bottles. Stay hydrated!

Can I bring my dog or pet?

Yes, well behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Please clean up after your pup. As a courtesy to other guests, noisy dogs should be left at home.

What kind of bathrooms are available at Camp Jam?

There will be portable bathroom facilities with sinks for hand washing and hand sanitizer.

Will there be food and drinks available?

There will be a local food truck option during the music portion of the event.  Campers are encouraged to bring food and beverages for their camping experience.  Portable gas grills are allowed.  Beverages are allowed, glass is not.  There will be beverages for purchase in the concert area.

Is camping included?

Campers are required to purchase a GA Camping ticket. RV and Zun elevated tent options are available for purchase however note that a GA concert ticket is necessary to access the concert field.

What is the refund policy?

Camp Jam is a rain or shine event. All sales are final.

What is NOT ALLOWED at Camp Jam at Woodlands Nature Reserve?

  • Illegal drugs

  • Glass in any form

  • Weapons of any type including guns, knives, shovels, hammers

  • Fireworks

  • Laser pointers

  • Drones

  • Rage sticks / festival totems

What IS ALLOWED at Camp Jam at Woodlands Nature Reserve?

  • Coolers with your own beverages, chairs, blankets are welcome

  • Empty containers such as Camelbacks or reusable water bottles

Does UBER / Lyft operate in the area?

Yes, there will be an UBER / Lyft drop off area located near the main entrance in Bailey’s Field.

Can I bring my bike?

Bicycles are allowed and encouraged!

Can I bring my kayak?

Yes, please do. Just be sure to not do anything that would potentially harm any wildlife. Your cooperation with our conservation efforts is appreciated.

Can I bring my fishing gear?

As a nature reserve, we encourage wildlife viewing;  fishing is not allowed.

Can I bring my golf cart or other motorized vehicle?

Golf carts and other motorized vehicles are not permitted, however, responsible use of e-bikes is permitted.  Event staff has the right to request any patron operating an e-bike in an intoxicated or otherwise unsafe manner to return the bike to campsite or vehicle.  Please ride responsibly.
